Keep in mind that straight-up winning percentages don't matter because every play I release is rated. Thus you have to consider the rating of each selection - in terms of money-management principles - when I'm presenting you my net profit figures.

I like to keep it simple, rating my plays on a 10 Dime to 100 Dime scale.

Obviously, a 40 dime play is four times stronger than a 10 Dime release and twice as strong as a 20 dime play.

And my NET profit figures are always derived based on the dime rating with wins minus losses (including the vig). That's the ONLY fair way to do it and any handicapper who doesn't is trying to hide something.

But ratings are only good if you follow them and adhere to a strict money management system. This is a simple concept to follow, but it's also something that many gamblers fail to understand.

My advice is to keep it simple and follow a money management system based on the size of your bankroll on a given day.

• Bankroll Rules - Base the size of your wagers on a percentage of your total bankroll - the amount you can afford to lose if everything goes against you - on a single day. If your bankroll for a given Sunday is $200 and I release a 50 Dime and two 20 Dime plays, then you should be wagering about $2.22 per dime. Thus my 50 Dime play would be about a $111 wager and the 20 Dime plays would be approximately $44 wagers.

This is a very easy concept to grasp and it keeps you out of trouble because you will never be betting more than you can afford to lose (in a worst case scenario) on any given day.

Now, just remember, I'm advising you to figure out the maximum wager for a single day. It's up to you to allocate your bankroll for the entire wagering week.
